Waterproof Montana has been delivering top-tier residential and commercial waterproofing solutions for over 16 years. We proudly serve communities across Montana and select areas in Wyoming, Idaho, and Eastern Washington for large-scale projects.
Our mission is to provide cutting-edge waterproofing technology and unmatched customer service. We specialize in foundation waterproofing, drainage systems, crawl space encapsulation, and above-grade moisture protection, ensuring every project is built to withstand Montana’s harsh weather conditions.
Our History
WPMT was originally part of Montana Basement Solutions, focusing on water remediation and basement waterproofing. As demand grew for new construction waterproofing, WPMT was established to provide full-service waterproofing for builders, architects, and property owners. Today, we continue to set the standard for waterproofing excellence in Montana.
Key Team Members

Erik Bodeen
Erik started the original company in 2007, as he saw a need for better building envelope design and installation in Northwest Montana through his water remediation company and time as a licensed real estate agent. Having spent time in construction, flipping real estate, and a successful career in banking/finance, he decided to dedicate himself to WPMT full time several years ago. Erik resides in Whitefish with his family, and enjoys spending his free time hunting, snowmobiling, boating/camping, golfing, and travelling.

Wynn Vande Vrede

Henry Holt
Henry is based out of our Bozeman location, and can often be found in the Big Sky area. His experience and resourcefulness with both below grade and horizontal above grade water proofing has him working on some of our largest projects, overseeing crews and working in conjunction with our general contractors daily.

Bryce Nichols
Bryce has been part of the team at MBS and WPMT moving up the ranks from a technician to an estimator and project manager. His experience in numerous product installations, problem solving, and process management is invaluable to our contractors and owners - ensuring specifications are adhered to, and jobs run smoothly. Bryce is based out of our Whitefish office, He and his family reside in nearby Kalispell.

Kevin Brady
With over 27 years of experience in leak detection and water intrusion solutions, Kevin Brady brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership to Waterproof Montana. As Chief Operations Officer, he oversees daily operations, ensuring efficiency across project management, estimating, and team training. His expertise in identifying and resolving complex water-related issues, combined with his strategic approach to business operations, helps drive Waterproof Montana’s commitment to quality and precision. Kevin’s leadership ensures seamless coordination between teams, innovative problem-solving, and exceptional service for every project.

Ethan Roberts
Ethan re-joined our company after gaining addiitonal experience in the roofing business in Montana. With experience in the field on both the WPMT and MBS sides of the business, he now spends most of his time working on estimates for contractors and owners, speaking with new and potential customers, and inspections. Ethan works out of our Whitefish location. He resides in nearby Kalispell with his family.

Waterproof Montana Careers in Montana
As a waterproofing technician, you will be predominantly working on new construction job sites, both commercial and residential. Work hours are generally 7-4pm M-F, but may vary slightly based upon season and jobsite/contract requirements.
WPMT works primarily in Western Montana, with occasional work in surrounding areas. Tasks include but are not limited to preparation of foundations for waterproofing application, sheet good and spray applied waterproofing coating applications, installation of insulation board, drainboard installation, and all associated detail work.
WPMT offers a competitive wage DOE, (starting at $22/hr or more), paid holidays, sick time, vacation, and a company sponsored (with match) 401k plan. When travelling for work, per diems are also provided, along with company paid housing/lodging.
All tools and personal protection equipment are company provided.
Requirements:
- Clean, valid Driver’s License (ability to be approved by our insurance company to drive our vehicles)
- Working smart phone
- Reliable transportation to a WPMT office location or jobsite/pick-up location
- Attention to detail – important
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on a ladder/scaffolding
- Reliably on-time to work
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel
Preferred:
- Prior Waterproofing/Foundation/Flat Roofing Experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Prior construction experience

As a general laborer, you will be predominantly working on new construction job sites, both commercial and residential. Work hours are generally 7-4pm M-F but may vary based upon season and jobsite/contract requirements. No prior construction experience required, but it is preferred.
WPMT works primarily in Western Montana, with occasional work in surrounding areas. Tasks include but are not limited to preparation of foundations for waterproofing application, moving/handling/loading/unloading all job-related materials, cutting/installation of insulation board, drainboard installation, and all associated detail work, errand running, site preparation and clean-up, shoveling/raking/brushing. Opportunity to progress to Waterproofing Technician after demonstration of skills learned on the job for the right individuals.
WPMT offers a competitive wage DOE (starting at $19/hr+), paid holidays, sick time, vacation, and a company sponsored (with match) 401k plan. When travelling for work, per diems are also provided, along with company paid housing/lodging.
